No-Starting-Over Week Template
A template for treating missed habits as part of the week instead of a reason to start over.
The template
- Name the missed habit without moral language.
- Choose the next normal meal, walk, water cue, sleep cue, or check-in.
- Lower the target if the original version is too large this week.
- Protect one anchor habit for the next 24 hours.
- Review the week once, not after every mistake.
What not to add
Do not add punishment workouts, corrective food rules, or guilt math. Those can make the week feel more fragile.
A no-starting-over week is successful when the next ordinary action arrives sooner.

FAQ
What does no starting over mean?
It means you keep the week intact. A missed habit becomes information, then you resume with the next useful action.
Should I make up missed habits later?
Usually no. Pick the next normal habit instead of trying to repay the missed one.
How does Thinner support this?
Thinner can keep the next action small and visible, which helps a missed day become a restart cue.
